Easter Folklore Festival in Prague is a unique international folklore event featuring a professional open-air stage in the heart of Prague and a spectacular parade through Old Town Square.
Organized by Blue Diamond for more than 15 years, the festival brings together 15–20 international folklore groups in each edition, creating a vibrant celebration of music, dance, traditions, and cultural diversity.
Visitors can enjoy traditional cuisine, authentic local and international products, street food, and Easter markets — all in one lively setting.
The festival takes place in three editions throughout the year: Spring, Summer, and Advent, offering visitors the opportunity to experience folklore and traditions in Prague across different seasons.
REGULATIONS
Folklore dancing ensembles, chorus, majorettes, musical bands are invited to participate in the Easter folklore festival which held in Prague.
Every group will perform once and it should prepare a 8 minutes program.
Performances with live and recorded music are both allowed.
The age and the maximum number of dancers in the group are not limited. The minimum number of the group members for accommodation is 15.
Adult, youth and children ensembles are welcome. Soloists and individual performers are not accepted.
The performance is allowed only to those who accept the conditions from our offer. Other arrangements are not possible, and there is no special participation fee, except for the offered package.
Family members and friends may join this folklore festival and travel to Czech Republic for the same price.
The accommodation of the groups is provided in 3/4* hotels like HOTEL OLSANKA or HOTEL OLYMPIK CONGRESS or any other hotel of the same category, in triple and quadruple rooms, and it includes 3 nights with half-board (breakfast and dinner).
The hotel will be assigned to every group based on the requested rooming of all groups. The final program with the logistics, timing and all the details about the hotel in which you will be accommodated will be sent to you 3 weeks before the arrival.
Accommodation for 1 person is free of charge if you have more than 25 persons in the group. Accommodation for 2 persons is free of charge if you have more than 42 persons in the group.

- Trip expenses, airport transfers and other transfers if needed, parking

- Supplement for staying in a double room 8€ per person per day

PAYMENT
As confirmation of its participation in this folklore festival, a group pays 2000€ in advance and the rest not later than 15 days before the festival by bank transfer.
The advanced payment is non-reimbursable if you later decide not to come, for any reason.
In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the date of the event or to postpone it for the next year.
PRELIMINARY PROGRAM OF THE FESTIVAL
APRIL 2nd
The groups should arrive to the hotel between 14:00 and 19:00 where they will be welcomed and referred to the program.
APRIL 3rd
The day of the Easter folklore festival in Prague. Performances will be held on an big open-air stage in the center of the town protected with a roof in case of the rain (Old Town Prague). A grand parade through the centre before the Festival.
APRIL 4 th
This day is free for sightseeing. For the morning we suggest boat tour on the Vltava river which we organize for all the participants. Your evening can be fulfilled by a traditional Czech dinner with interactive Folklore show (a great opportunity to meet each other).
APRIL 5th
You should check out after the breakfast.
Notification
The exact time of the beginning and the ending of the folklore festival will be announced later. Program on the day of the festival must be respected. Groups are required to adjust their bus transport according to the program and are supposed to be present at the awarding ceremony!
