Outstanding Folklore festival in Sorrento – a great opportunity to visit: Capri island, Amalfi coast, Sorrento, Vesuvius, Naples, Pompeii…
REGULATIONS
Folklore dancing groups, chorus, majorettes, musical bands are invited to participate in this folklore festival which will be held in Sorrento, Italy.
Every group will perform once and it should prepare a 8 minutes program.
Performances with live and music recorded on USB are both allowed.
The age and the number of dancers in the group are not limited. Adult, young and children ensembles are welcome. Soloists are not accepted. The minimum number of people in the group is 25 (including dancers, relatives, accompanists and drivers).
Family members and friends may join folklore festival in Sorrento and visit one of the most beautiful areas of Italy for the same price.
The accommodation of the groups is provided in 3*/4* hotels like HOTEL PARADISO, HOTEL DEI CONGRESSI , HOTEL PANORAMA PALACE any other hotel of the same category, in triple and quadruple rooms and it includes 4 nights with half-board (breakfast and dinner).
On your special request we can provide higher categories of the hotels with supplement 15-20 euro per each day.
Accommodation for 1 person is free of charge if you have more than 25 persons in the group. Accommodation for 2 persons is free of charge if you have more than 42 persons in the group.

PAYMENT
As confirmation of its participation in this folklore festival, a group pays 2000€ in advance and the rest not later than 15 days before the festival by bank transfer.
This deposit is non-reimbursable if you later decide not to come, for any reason. In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the date of the event or to postpone it for the next year.
PRELIMINARY PROGRAM OF THE FESTIVAL
JUNE 26th
The groups should arrive to the hotel between 14:00 and 19:00 where they will be welcomed and referred to the program.
JUNE 27th
We suggest a whole day private excursion to Capri Island, coordinated by our team which we organize for all the groups together with a free time for swimming, shopping, lunch and sightseeing, especially enjoying breath-taking views and tasting local products.
JUNE 28th
We suggest visiting Pompeii or Naples in the morning as the folklore festival will be held in the evening in Sorrento.
JUNE 29th
We suggest a whole day private boat excursion to Amalfi Coast by boat with stops and free time in Amalfi and Positano, coordinated by our team which we organize for all the groups together. You will have time for swimming, shopping and tasting delicious products of the best lemon in the world.
JUNE 30th
You should leave the hotel after the breakfast.
Notification
The exact time of the beginning and the ending of the folklore festival will be announced later. Program on the day of the festival must be respected. Groups are required to adjust their bus transport according to the program and are supposed to be present at the awarding ceremony!
