Folklore festival Sanremo
Sanremo folklore festival is the unique international folklore festival which has been held annualy in the heart of well- known ”city of music” – Sanremo organized by Blue Diamond exclusively in official collaboration of Sanremo Municipality. The festival takes place in piazza Borea d’Olmo in a grandious open air stage in front of the celebrated teatro Ariston which hosts well know Sanremo music festival. During fetsival participants enjoy Italian Riviera dei Fiori and also French Riviera (Cote d’Azur) visiting Monte Carlo, Nice, Cannes, Menton ,beautiful seaside resorts, the rich and famous, yachts, medieval architecture, flowers and wine!
REGULATIONS
Folklore dancing ensembles, chorus, majorettes, orchestra, musical bands are invited to participate in this folklore festival which will be held in Sanremo.
Every group will perform once and it should prepare a 10 minutes program.
Performances with live and music recorded on USB are both allowed.
The age and the maximum number of dancers in the group are not limited. The minimum number of the group members for accommodatio is 15, including relatives, drivers. Adult, youth and children ensembles are welcome to participate. Soloists are not accepted.
Family members and friends may join this folklore festival in Sanremo and take the chance to visit Italy and France for the same price.
The accommodation of the groups is provided in 3* hotels like HOTEL EUROPA , HOTEL SVIZZERA or HOTEL VILLA SAN GIUSEPPE or similar, in triple rooms, and it includes 4 nights with half-board (breakfast and dinner).
On your special request we can provide higher categories of the hotels or in city centre of Sanremo LOLLY PALACE with supplement 20 euro per per person for each day, or similar hotelwhat is the subject of availability.
Accommodation for 1 person is free of charge if you have more than 25 persons in the group. Accommodation for 2 persons is free of charge if you have more than 42 persons in the group.
According to your flights there is possibility to prolong your stay in the same hotel. We are able to help you with airport transfers and excursions on your request ( it is necessary to contact us to ask for quotation and avalability of buses at least 4 months in advance).

PAYMENT
As confirmation of its participation in this folklore festival in Sanremo, a group pays 2000€ in advance and the rest not later than 15 days before the festival by bank transfer.
The advanced payment is non-reimbursable if you later decide not to come, for any reason.
In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the date of the event or to postpone it for the next year.
PRELIMINARY PROGRAM OF THE FESTIVAL
MAY 14th
The groups should arrive to the hotel between 14:00 and 19:00 where they will be welcomed and referred to the program.
MAY 15th
The day of the Folklore festival in Sanremo. Performances will be held on an open-air stage in Sanremo. In the morning you may visit Sanremo. (In the event of adverse weather conditions, the festival may be rescheduled for the next day)
MAY 16th
This day is free for sightseeing. We suggest visiting Nice and Cannes or Eze.
MAY 17th
This day is free for sightseeing. We suggest visiting Monte Carlo and Menton.
MAY 18th
You should check out after the breakfast.
Notification
The exact time of the beginning and the ending of the folklore festival will be announced later. Program on the day of the festival must be respected. Groups are required to adjust their bus transport according to the program and are supposed to be present at the awarding ceremony!
